FIU Study Abroad provides numerous opportunities to study abroad and experience the world through over 60 faculty-led programs, an international student exchange program, and our third-party providers. Each year over 1,000 Panthers study, research, or intern abroad in dozens of countries throughout the world.

We have opened applications for our wonderful Summer Study Abroad Program in Buenos Aires, Argentina!
The Argentina Study Abroad program will take place during Summer B, 2025, from June 16 to July 11, 2025.  It is an interdisciplinary program designed to advance an understanding of Latin American international relations and society by living and studying in Buenos Aires, one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities in the Americas. It is open to grads and undergrads.  Students must be in good academic standing.  
   
Students register for two courses, International Relations of Latin America and History, Politics, Society and Culture of Argentina, for a total of 6 credits. Course requirements for undergraduate and graduate students vary accordingly. All classes are held in Buenos Aires. In addition to classroom instruction, students participate in field trips to various locations of cultural and/or historical importance throughout Buenos Aires.
