Biography
I am a PhD student of International Relations at Florida International University (FIU). International Political Economy and Political Theory are my major and minor respectively.
I am interested in variations in AI policy among countries in the Global South, sovereign debt in Africa, and African governments' outsourcing of fiscal and monetary policies to the IMF and World Bank.
I have also been pondering over domestic reactions to crises in the global capitalist economy. Why are some reactions taking a right-wing drift while others are leaning left?
These are the research interests of an intellectually ambivalent mind. I hope - while engaging with the state-of-the-art of these broad topics - to narrow down to one or an interrelated two and develop my project. Feel free to connect.
