Biography

Valeriia has completed her bachelor’s in Political Science and master’s in Comparative Politics with honors at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in 2010 and 2014, respectively. She was working as a PR and mass communication specialist in the Russian Federation’s government. Valeriia participated in numerous conferences and published several articles on natural monopolies regulation, state-business relations in Russia, and development of e-government in post-soviet states. While at the university, she was serving as a class President and ran a student newspaper. Area of her interests includes comparative politics, mass communication, public relations, state regulation of natural monopolies, political propaganda, role of religion in politics, and international relations. Currently Valeriia is working on comparative political propaganda in the US and Russia.
