Biography
Miss Dell’Era joined the Ph.D. program in International Relations in the Fall of 2018. Prior to joining FIU, she received a Bachelor’s degree in “Foreign Languages and Literatures” from the University of Bergamo, Italy (2013) and a Master’s degree in “Languages, Economics and Institutions of Asia and North Africa” from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy (2017). Her research interests include: Japan’s foreign policy, regional security in East Asia, the US alliance structure in the Asia-Pacific, in particular the US-Japan Security Alliance, and, related to this, the impact of the US military presence on local communities in the region.
