Born and raised in Minsk, Belarus, Ms. Beloshitzkaya graduated top of her class from Belarus State University, majoring in Russian Philology in 2008. While in Belarus, Ms. Beloshitzkaya taught debate and argumentation to first year law school students and volunteered as a high school debate coach. Later Ms. Beloshitzkaya pursued her graduate studies at Manchester University, where she earned her Master of Arts degree in Sociology with distinction in 2009. After relocating to South Florida, Ms. Beloshitzkaya taught Sociology and Social Problems at Broward College and served as an advisor to Model United Nations Club participants. In 2014, she was awarded an Interdisciplinary Writing Teaching Assistantship by Florida International University, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science, with concentration in Comparative Politics and International Relations. Her third field is Public policy of political economy. Ms. Beloshitzkaya's research focuses on authoritarian resilience in the former Soviet Union region as well as welfare state transformations and market reforms in post-socialist context.
