The annual FIU University-Wide Scholarship Competition is now accepting applications for over 110 scholarships, worth almost $140,000. Scholarships are available for incoming and current students, for undergraduate and graduate/professional students, and for international students. A number of scholarships are for specific groups, such as graduates of LaSalle-Immaculata or G. Holmes Braddock Senior High, for students with Haitian or Cuban ancestry, and for Engineering/Computer Science students.
The application deadline is Monday, April 18, 2011 at 5 p.m. Applications require, at a minimum, a two-page essay and a letter of recommendation.
